'Mixed pieces' Used to describe a mix of fresh garden bean-sprouts with shredded carrots, celery and onions. |
| Dop Voi |
A mixed variety of ingredients. Used to describe a stir fry consisting of a variety of vegetables that will complement the particular ingredient. For example, Shrimp Dop Voi. In the case of 'Dai Dop Voi', the key word 'Dai' means 'everything' or 'deluxe'. |
| 'Ding' |
Combination of diced celery, green peppers and onions with diced carrots and peas. |
| Lor Mein |
Oriental-style egg noodles are stir-fried with a variety of vegetables and meats. |
| Chow Mein |
- The crispy dry noodles served with a dish containing bean sprouts and variety vegetables.
- Describes 'Tang's'-style chow mein as the bed of steamed or pan-fried Oriental egg noodles from which a meat and or vegetable stir-fry is served on top. The noodles can either be prepared soft or 'al dente'.
